The Experience
Vanghat is an exquisite eco-friendly lodge that offers a genuine wildlife experience and our guests have the upmost flexibility with which to spend their days with us. Included activities - walking safaris, birding and fishing - can occur throughout the day, all accompanied by our local guides.
Of course there is also the option to relax around the property, perhaps taking a stroll to our wildlife vantage points located near to the lodge or going for a swim in the beautiful waters of the Ramnagar - a treat in the hot summers months. After sundown, guests often congregate around the fire to share stories about their day's wildlife sightings and sit back with drinks before a candlelit dinner.
We can also arrange for visits for enthusiasts with specific interests, be it hunting out an elusive species with the help of a specialist guide or creating a unique experience for photographers or families. Longer treks into the local villages of the hills can also be arranged, which combine rich forests and rich cultures for a unique experience.
